Why Are My Force/Torque Values Smaller Than Expected?

If you're noticing that the force and torque values are smaller than expected, the issue is likely due to one of the following:

Propeller Direction: If your propeller is spinning in the wrong direction, it will significantly reduce performance. For example, if your propeller is designed to spin counterclockwise, spinning it clockwise will negatively affect the thrust generated.

Mechanical Assembly: If an external object absorbs the load between the motor mount and the stand, the measured torque will decrease as the force is dispersed elsewhere.
